Manaslu with mountain bikes - 14 days:
About Himalayan Nepal trek:
We used Gopal and his company to take care of permits ahead of departure, organize transportation and get a guide/porter for our trip since that is mandatory in the Manaslu region. We picked the company since their prices are better than a lot of the other companies, and Gopal did a good job at replying to our e-mails and answering our questions in the planning process. Our guide/porter was friendly and helpful, but was not acting the way you want a guide to do a lot of times, as he was mostly doing his own thing. Communicating with the guide was often difficult.
Mountain biking the Manaslu circuit in the monsoon season:
A could write a lot about our trip but I will sum it up with a few words:
Manaslu is great, it did not rain too much, some biking and some carrying, landslides, hard work, but good fun and hardly any tourists around.

Gopal and his team organized the most amazing trek. My first ever trek and certainly not my last with our guides Indra, Dendi and Bhakti who were fantastic and looked after us so well.
I can definitely recommend Himalayan Nepal Trek, and will definitely be back.
Very good quality/price ratio. Professional staff, smiling and accomodating : we missed our flight and they manage to keep everything in our trek even with 1 day missing.
The group of 9 friends thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and warmth of the people of Nepal. The Himalayan Nepal Trek Company provided the most amazing, friendly and accommodating guides and porters, who ensured we were well cared for and enjoyed the best of the Everest Base Camp trek. We have returned with such superb photographs and memories, that we are planning to return next year, with the same guides, to explore the Annapurna region.
It's interesting finding guides for a two week adventure to capture images of Mount Everest up close. It's like coming out of the airport in Kathmandu. Everyone wants to be your friend. Since you are starting the conversation typically by email, a part of this is instinct. I'm glad I went with what seemed right. Gopal set me up on an amazing trip that was at once thrilling, at times with some suffering and ultimately sent me back home with wonderful memories, two cameras full of spectacular images and of course two weeks later, wanting to go back again.
Gopal orchestrated things carefully, but I really have to thank my guide Badri and porter Thirta, for showing me the way, schlepping my stuff, putting up with my endless requests for cameras and photo stops. all in all, I felt very take care of and looked after by these three.
